Transforming events for Sydney's favourite Argentinian venue

Operating one of Sydney’s iconic event venues, Porteño Group (owners of the popular Porteño and Bodega restaurants) has been offering Sydney exciting Latin American flavours since 2006 across
its restaurants and dedicated event space.

Brief.

Porteño Group approached Example to devise a sales & marketing strategy to raise awareness of its event space
and to help the group drive a steady stream of leads and bookings. We were then to design a new website and a range
of tailored sales kits for the group.

Solution.

Following an extensive audit of the group’s event business, Example developed a sales & marketing strategy to provide clarity on the event venue’s USPs, target audiences, competitors and key messages. Part of this process saw Example recommend a rename of the event space from Porteno Events to Casa Porteno, placing greater emphasis on the venue itself and reducing confusion amongst target audiences. 

A complete customer journey mapping process was implemented, with tailored recommendations outlined to help the business raise awareness, drive and concert leads, and encourage repeat business and word of mouth. Following delivery of the sales & marketing strategy, Example oversaw a new venue and F&B photoshoot, designed a new website for the venue, and created a set of tailored sales kits and collateral to help promote the space and its events offering.
